Polaris and Rockford Fosgate just teamed up to create what is likely the most impressive audio system ever seen in a side-by-side. They’re calling it the Ranger Roof Audio System, and it’s going to be available in both two and four seater RANGER models dating back to 2018. The four seat speaker configuration boasts an impressive eight-8″ speakers, two-10″ subwoofers, a 1500W amp, and the Element Ready source unit/PMX-3 receiver (MSRP $7,999.99). The two-seat model loses some hardware, but still comes with four-8″ speakers, a 1500W amp, and the Element Ready source unit (MSRP $4,999.99). Also available is an exterior rear cap that adds another four-8″ speakers, an additional 800W amplifier, two cargo lights, and a MX-CAM backup camera (MSRP $2,499.99). The entire system is protected from the elements and UV protected, and they claim it’ll hold up just fine to water, salt, and whatever else you may encounter out on the trail. And it all looks pretty sweet too, since you can change the system’s colors using the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix controller and app.

These systems aren’t cheap by any means, but it looks to be the easiest way to get the SxS party started since these can be installed by your local dealer. You can purchase them now through dealerships. I’ve seen many side-by-sides in Colorado loaded up with all kinds of colorful lights and speaker setups (especially around the holidays) so I’m sure this will be pretty popular, and I think it’ll sound epic!
