GM gives us a first official look at the upcoming 2024 GMC Canyon AT4X AEV edition. You have already seen us test the new Canyon AT4X, but we have not seen the special AEV Edition in all of its glory yet. This follows along with the philosophy of the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison. It takes an already very capable midsize off-road truck – it gives it an additional suspension lift, additional steel components for protection, and larger tires. Bam, you have one mean pickup truck.
GMC says the full reveal of the new model is coming on July 6th, 2023. GM is also unveiling the 2024 Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison on May 31st, 2023.
There is no shortage of excitement in the midsize pickup truck segment. Ford recently unveiled the 2024 Ranger Raptor. Toyota is working on a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro and Tacoma Trailhunter. You will have many new truck options to choose from later this year or early next year. It will take these manufacturers a bit of time to get all these new models to the dealership.
