Every year, Jeep brings concepts to Moab and the 2023 Easter Jeep Safari will have quite a few!
The 2023 Easter Jeep Safari, which will take place the week of April 2nd, and will feature several prototypes that we will sample. In addition, these vehicles will be on display for the public to ogle during the week. This is the 57th Easter Jeep Safari, and we expect the town of Moab, UT to be busier than ever. Now, the Easter Jeep Safari will have events before and after the week of April 2nd. TFL Studios will be there when Jeep officially arrives. You can find additional information on EJS ’23 events (here).
Some of the concepts below are followed by a cryptic statement about the vehicle, with very little information. I included some of these blurbs, but they are difficult to elaborate on. As such, I will give a basic description above the image as well.
Jeep Wagoneer Concept
It appears to be an off-road setup for a Wagoneer, similar to the Trail Hawk setups for the Grand Cherokee, Compass and so-on. I do declare that they added a winch and some fender flares, which is mighty cool.

JPP Rubicon Concept #1
Every year, Jeep Performance Parts wheels out a few examples of what they can do with a product. In this case, it looks like a fully exposed Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4xe with a ton of JPP components. Often, Jeep/Mopar/JPP will add parts that are not available – yet. They are in place to gage our reactions.

Cherokee Chief Concept
Now THIS looks interesting! It could be just a front end clip from a Cherokee Chief, blended with a Wrangler – but it’s hard to say. For several years, the Jeep design folks have found ways of using the old Cherokee Chief in modern concepts. They just love that design.

Magneto 3.0
This is the all-electric Jeep Wrangler which is marked “Magneto 3.0.” Last year, we sampled Magneto 2.0, with some mixed results. Hopefully, this is a closer-to-production version of the electric Wrangler. We’ll find out soon!

JPP Wrangler Concept #2
This is another rolling showcase of Jeep Performance Parts (JPP). There appears to be a large roof tent, or something heavy that’s being supported by wires, on top.

JPP Wrangler Concept #3
This one is hard to figure out, other than it’s most likely a Wrangler 4xe. Did you know, the Jeep Wrangler 4xe is one of the best selling PHEVs in the United States?

Two Passenger Wrangler Rubicon Pickup Concept?
This concept appears to be a Wrangler Rubicon with a rear bed of sorts. They have built concepts like this before, but this looks pretty unique. On top of that, Jeep is teasing folks who are begging them for a two-door Gladiator.

There will be a lot more information coming your way soon.
Stay tuned!
