Earlier this year, Ford unveiled the all-new 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor model. Built on the standard Bronco platform, the Bronco Raptor is beefed up to be both a more capable rock crawler and desert runner. When Ford first announced the new model, they said it would be powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo V6, and that they were targeting over 400 horsepower.
Today we received some news that confirmed the actual power figures the new vehicle will be putting out. This comes from a tweet made today by Ford’s CEO Jim Farley.

So it’s official! Ford was targeting over 400hp, and they made it happen! The Ford Bronco Raptor will produce 418hp and 440lb/ft of torque. We’ll have more info on the Bronco Raptor as it becomes available. In the meantime, check out this podcast episode where Andre walks around the new Bronco Raptor with a two of the people responsible for making it.
