How does the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Off-Road handle snowy and icy conditions? We are about to find out as we take our long-term Tundra high and deep into the Rocky Mountains.

The new Tundra has an all-new chassis, suspension, cab, bed, and powertrain. It has a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 under the hood that is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It has a 4×4 system with a low-range transfer case, but it does not have a 4-Auto four-wheel-drive mode. Since this truck has a TRD Off-road package, it has Bilstein shocks, Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W tires, and a selectable rear locking differential.

Tommy and Roman attempt to get the new Tundra stuck in the snow, but the tires have really good traction. The driving modes (including Deep Snow) adjust the traction control system and this truck is very confident in very cold and snowy conditions.
