Can-Am Maverick X3

The speedy one is a new Can-Am Maverick X3 X RS Turbo RR with Smart-Shox. This is a long name for a very capable machine. It’s got massive 22-inch suspension travel thanks to its 72-inch width. It has a turbocharged Rotax three-cylinder that’s good for 195 horsepower. It has 30-inch tires and an active/adjustable Smart-Shox system. If you shrunk and distilled all of the off-road goodness – it will be this machine. The pricing starts at around $29,000.

Ford Bronco

The SUVs are represented by the new Ford Bronco four-door First Edition. This is a super off-road capable SUV thanks to a suspension lift, 35-inch all-terrain tires, front & rear locking differentials, front stabilizer-bar disconnect, trail turn assist, and more. This one has a 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 with 310 horsepower. This First Edition of the Bronco has an MSRP of $63,000.

The trucks are represented by the current king of off-road trucks, the Ram TRX. It has 13-14 inches of suspension travel. It has active/adjustable shocks. This truck is rolling on 35-inch all-terrain tires. It’s propelled by a 702 horsepower supercharged 6.2L V8. The truck also has around 1,350 lbs of payload capacity and 8,100 lbs of towing capability. If need be, it can tow either the Can-Am or the Bronco on a trailer. The truck is also very wide and has a long wheelbase.
