It’s been a long-time coming, but the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee is finally here! No more camouflaged prototypes! No more guessing. It’s here, and it’s a LONG version. This is the new Grand Cherokee “L”, a three-row SUV.
The overall exterior design is not a far departure from the current Grand Cherokee. This makes a lot of sense since the current model has been on sale with a few minor updates for around 10 years and on sale with great success. This all-new model makes its world debut as a long-wheelbase variant. Why? Well, many of Grand Cherokee’s competitors have three rows of seats, and Jeep wants to expand its reach.
Under the hood are a choice of two very familiar power plants. It’s either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8! Jeep says that an electrified Grand Cherokee 4Xe is coming later this year, and no specifications have yet been unveiled.
