The Yenko Supercharged Silverado OFF-ROAD is an 800 horsepower beast!
Many GM fans will rejoice when they see the specifications of the 2021 Yenko Supercharged Silverado OFF-ROAD pickup truck. It is not an official vehicle produced by Chevrolet, but it is available at select Chevrolet dealerships. On top of that, the supercharged engine and the transmission are covered by a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
Unfortunately, it is a lot more expensive than the Ford or Ram as the upgrade package pricing starts at $84,995. The $45,000 donor truck is not included. Overall, it will set you back about $130,000. Each Yenko off-road truck starts as a Custom model, one of the less expensive of the current Silverado 1500s.
Only 50 trucks will be available for the 2021 model year. The Yenko Supercharged Silverado OFF-ROAD could be the answer for some GM fans out there that wanted something that can take on the top dogs from Ford and Ram.
The Yenko Supercharged Silverado OFF-ROAD Engine and transmission:
SVE takes a 6.2-liter V8 and adds a supercharger to make 800 horsepower and 720 lb-ft of torque. That is a 380-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque gain. It’s thanks in part to forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported LT-1 cylinder heads, beefed-up injectors, software tuning, and a twisted steel crankshaft. It has a “race quality” computer-balanced rotating assembly and that works alongside its own high-output OEM-style centrifugal supercharger assembly.
It comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. According to SVE: “A heavy-duty automatic transmission with performance upgrade is also included along with its own 3 year/36,000 mile (60,000 kilometers) warranty.”
Suspension, brakes and tires:
The 2021 Yenko Supercharged Silverado OFF-ROAD has BDS 4” coil-over lift system. Next-generation FOX shocks, HD Recoil traction bars, and a heavy-duty rear sway bar are part of the package. Yenko badged 6-piston front brake calipers come in red (custom colors are optional) with vented, 16.1-inch rotors
Unique 12-spoke 20″ x 10″ aluminum alloy front and rear one-piece wheels in matte finish with rim edge finished in silver, black, or body color. The package includes Nitto Ridge Grappler LT295/60R20 off-road performance tires.
Extras:
SVE adds unique graphics to the exterior along with options that include a roll-cage-like lite bar, unique front-end components, roof lights, an automated step, and more. The interior has unique Yenko graphics and other upgrades along with optional leather seats. These seats are available in black or gray with 7 accent colors or cloth material.
This truck is 40 to $60,000 more than the competition. There will only be a handful available in 2021. As such, some will be scooped up by collectors. You may want to get yours while you still can.
