No Surprise: Polaris Sales Take a Hit in Q1 Amid Pandemic

Polaris has reported its first quarter earnings for 2020 and no one will be surprised to learn that sales are down.

The brand reports that overall sales have fallen by 6 percent in Q1 compared to the same period last year, though one division of Polaris did see a small uptick.

Indian Motorcycles managed a seven percent sales gain in Q1, while off-road/snowmobiles was down five percent, aftermarket fell by 8 percent and the boat division dropped by 16 percent.

Polaris has announced that some manufacturing plants have begun to re-open, but things are certainly not back to normal just yet.

To help keep sales moving during COVID-19, Polaris has announced a home delivery program for all of its vehicles, saving the customer from ever having to step foot in a dealership.
