The all-electric GMC Hummer EV isn’t fully revealed yet, but in the brand’s Super Bowl spot, NBA star Lebron James teased the new machine.
A few of the pertinent numbers for the upcoming GMC pickup are in the commercial, revealing that it will make 1000 horsepower, 11,500 lb-ft of torque and run to 60 mph in just over three seconds.
In the spot, Lebron talks about the silent power that the truck will have, but sadly no more information is offered. We do know that the Hummer nameplate will exist within the GMC brand, rather than as a standalone brand.
We have seen the grille of the upcoming truck, which has the Hummer logo right across the front, lit up with signature LED lighting. Rooftop marker lights can also be seen in the image, along with some macho looking square mirrors.
The full GMC Hummer EV will be revealed on May 20, 2020. GMC revealed two videos along with its Super Bowl as, both of which are embedded below.
