The Ford Super Duty Tremor is the latest heavy duty off-road truck to hit the market, taking the fight to the Ram Power Wagon.
Ford already offers the FX4 off-road package for both its light duty and heavy duty trucks, but it doesn’t go too hardcore into the off-road world, a problem the Tremor solves.

This package adds a set of 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires, a two-inch lift in the front, a Dana limited slip in the front, an electronic locker in the rear, and some unique drive modes including Trail Control and a Rock Crawl Mode in 4×4 low.
The numbers on the Tremor come in at 10.8-inches of overall ground clearance, 33-inches of water fording, 31.65 degrees of approach and 24.51 degrees of departure.
Under the hood, both the new 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 and 6.7-liter turbodiesel will be available, while the Tremor package will be available in four different trims: XLT, Lariat, King Ranch and Platinum.
The Tremor will be available later in the fall. To see all the differences between the Tremor and the FX4 package, watch the video above.
