New Yamaha Grizzly 90 Ready for Kid-Sized Adventure

Yamaha has revealed a new youth ATV model called the Grizzly 90. 

Powering this unit is a 90cc engine mated to a CVT and standard features include reverse, a gated shifter and electric start with a back-up kickstart. Yamaha claims that it has reduced the maintenance needed on the engine, and added simple to use maintenance upgrades like a tool-less quick-access air filter.

The ergonomics of the machine are designed to fit riders 10 and up, with the dimension measuring 61.5-inches long, 40.6-inches wide and 39.6-inches tall. The A-arm suspension allows for 5-inches of travel in the front and 5.7-inches in the rear. In the front, 19-inch tires are used, which out back the tires are 18-inches. The wet weight of the Grizzly 90 is 307 pounds and braking is handled by three sealed drum brakes.

To help young ones learn there way around the machine, the Grizzly 90 includes an electronic speed limiter and an adjustable throttle limiter that can restrict engine power for beginners.

Pricing for the new Grizzly 90 begins at $2,999 in the United States and $3,599 in Canada.
