The new BFGoodrich T/A KM3 tires launchd earlier this year for trucks and Jeeps everywhere, but now BFGoodrich made it possible for radio-controlled off-roaders to get their hands on them.
BFG partnered with Pro-Line Racing to develop the mini tires and provided the company with a set of KM3s before launch so they could be modelled correctly. The RC-size tires share the same tread pattern as the full-size tire, so the aggressive tread lug bits can bite into loose soil, mud and slick rocks.
Self-cleaning tread blocks will help to shed the mud once it’s caked on according to BFG, just like on the full-size tire.
The tires fit on 1.9-inch RC crawler wheels and are a total size of 4.75-inches tall by 1.77-inches wide. More sizes are coming.
